Friday, October 9th, 2009

Anyone who is a gaming enthusiast might be familiar with the Project Natal by Xbox 360. That is just not the latest technology in the world of gaming but something that is going to revolutionize the gaming arena for good. The Project Natal Xbox 360 has made so much buzz on the media and the internet that even the non-gamers are now familiar with it.

In addition, it has the potential of pulling the non-gamers to the world of gaming. “So what is so special about it?” you might be wondering by now. Well this is not one single thing but many things that are not only special but also have introduced first time.

The Project Natal Xbox 360 allows a person to play without controllers using his/her own body. For example, when you are playing football, you will move by yourself to play the game! To kick the ball, you will move your leg and foot. To save the goal you will use you hands. This sounds like unbelievable but this is true. Moreover, what else? The whole thing is just not limited to recognition of movements of one person only.

Project Natal Xbox 360 can recognize the whole family. It can recognize their movement, their faces and their voices. The Project Natal Xbox 360 has also diminished one of the very serious concerns that were always raised about gaming. The concern was that people use to say that video games limit the physical activity and is a reason of obesity and laziness.

In fact dismissing of a controller is not the most revolutionary part. Taking the gaming to a completely new level of body movements is the revolutionary part. Now children and adults can have lots of fun and physical activity in the safe and cozy environment of their homes.
